Each company typically has its own job application procedure. For the mock interview activity, each student completes a basic, general job application. Here are some tips on completing the application.
Overall Tips
- Always get two copies of a job application. Complete the first one, no matter how many mistakes you make, all the way through. Next, complete the second one neatly without mistakes!
- PRINT neatly in blue or black pen. Do not switch pens mid-application.
- Never lie nor stretch the truth on your job application materials. It will come back to haunt you.
- Do not abbreviate, unless where absolutely necessary.

- Name – write it the same as you did on your resume header. Capitalize correctly.
