I have attended a handful of webcasts, but prior to this assignment it had never occurred to me to host one. Who would want to tune in? Isn’t it kind of pretentious to get online and record/broadcast yourself talking?

After my first webcast experience, I’m getting it now. It was fun. Some people enjoy being in front of the camera, while others are happy to post messages in the chat area. I was lucky enough to have 6 viewers for my inaugural webcast about classroom technology. Here’s the embedded video.
